As a partner of McGowan, Brady is an insurance producer that specializes in cost containment and risk management strategies for his commercial property & casualty and employee benefits clients. Brady holds the Certified Worker’s Compensation Advisor and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designations. In addition to sales and production, Brady serves as the human resources manager for McGowan overseeing employee recruitment, staff training and development, and workplace policies and processes.
After working for a large regional insurance agency for 5 years after graduating from Wabash College, Brady partnered with Josh Estelle and the Pfenninger Agency out of New Castle, IN to start Pfenninger, Claxton, & Estelle Insurance Group in 2008. With offices in Shelbyville, New Castle, Rushville, and Muncie, Brady and Josh grew the agency’s revenue significantly with over 30 total employees spanning the four locations. In November 2008, PCE Insurance Group merged the agency with McGowan and Brady became a Partner and his wife Ashley was named the Controller for McGowan.
Brady is a 2003 graduate of Wabash College where he played four years of basketball and majored in political science. He and Ashley have three children, Caden, Chloe, and Carson.

Outside of the Office: Brady enjoys spending time with Ashley and their three kids. All of the kids are involved in numerous sports that keep them busy all year long. Brady has always been involved with coaching basketball and baseball and continues to coach his oldest son Caden on Shelbyville High School’s basketball team. The family loves to travel and spend as much time on the water as possible with many summer weekends at Morse Reservoir. Brady was born and raised in Shelbyville and his family is deeply entrenched in the community. He serves on multiple non-profit boards in Shelbyville and he loves giving back to the community that has given he and his family so much.
