Gary started in the insurance business in 1975, the summer before his senior year at Indiana University. Upon graduation from the School of Business in 1976 he began his career with Thornhill -Davis insurance. In 1984 Gary bought Thornhill-Davis from his father, and with several mergers and acquisitions he joined McGowan in 2020. His primary focus is on Commercial Insurance.
He is married to his wife Connie, and they have three children Kylie, Annie, and Wes. They also have six grandchildren Kalie, Madie, Colbie, Graeme, Leighton, and Parker. Gary lives in New Castle and works out of the New Castle office. I his free time he enjoys the grand kids’ sports, golf, and pickleball.
