Josh graduated from Wabash College in 2000 where he played basketball and earned a degree in Economics and Communication. After graduated, he joined The Pfenninger Agency in New Castle as a producer. In the late 2000’s, Josh became a partner in the agency and eventually became the sole owner. In 2000, the agency had 5 employees and in 2020 when the agency merged with McGowan it had grown to 33 employees. Josh currently is a partner at McGowan and runs the benefits operation along with being a producer.
Josh spends most of his free time with his daughter coaching softball and basketball. He is on several boards of non-profits and is President of New Castle Little League Softball. He also enjoys golf and is a huge Colts, Pacers and Reds fan.
